About Us
Escala Medical was founded in November 2014 with the vision to provide disruptive, incision-free repair solutions for women with Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) to regain their quality of life. Hence, we are developing the first minimally invasive, non-surgical and incision-free repair solution to POP.
Escala’s team combines proven leadership, innovation and experience in women’s healthcare. The company is led by experienced individuals with significant expertise in medical device companies in general, and urogynaecology in particular.

Edit Goldberg, DMD, MBA
CEO
Over 17 years of medical device industry experience in senior development, strategic marketing and business development positions. Diverse background in all stages of product development of medical devices, combination products and biologics from concept to commercialisation. Previous positions include Director of Business Development at Omrix Biopharmaceutical (acquired by Ethicon, J&J, in 2008), VP Strategic Marketing at Lifebond, and VP Technology and New Ventures at Trendlines Medical. Edit is a trained Dentist and has an MBA. She serves as director in the BOD of Elcam Medical and Zeev Implants.

Head of R&D
Senior R&D engineer with vast experience in medical devices. Served as Head of R&D in medical device start-up. Co-inventor of over 10 patents. MSC in Biomedical engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion Institute, specialised in mechanics and bio-mechanics.

Over 25 years of experience in specialty medical devices, extensive sales and marketing experience, reimbursement; founder, co-founder of two medical device start-up companies later acquired. BS Biology Tampa College.
